I seem to recall that in an interview, SK said that he wrote this book and ‘The Stand’ after he was successful. He said after he published the first two books, he and his family moved to Colorado for a change of scenery and as literary inspiration.

Cool, just in time for the Halloween season. It’s been forever and a day since I read the Shining (if was the first King book I read when I was 10 in 1987.) I need to revisit it. I was curious what you guys thought of the the power, the shining, in retrospect with regards to the Dark Tower series and concepts like Ka…?

Awesome first show guys! Thank you very much. I eagerly await the next… I consider myself a Stephen King fan even though I’ve only actually read a few of his works. (Green Mile, The Shining, Gerald’s Game, Night Shift, Skeleton Crew and It) I am very fond of his short stories.

I was wondering if you guys like LOST? And if you do you probably already know that King is a big fan too. Turns out that LOST and “The Stand” have many things in common.
Anyway I was just wondering… keep it up guys and thanks.

I don’t know. I would imagine that we would at some point. Not sure if we’d dedicate an entire episode to each one or find a way to attach them to other episodes. But I’m sure we’d call upon a comics expert whenever we got there! Thanks for listening man. Hope you enjoyed yourself.
